Crossfit 928 is an awesome gym, community and place to learn about fitness, strength training and healthy habits. I joined in Aug 2014. My strength and stamina have improved dramatically. I have also learned about healthy choices to improve recovery and or not experience as much muscle pain post workout. To improve my recovery and post workout muscle pain, they suggested taking a tablespoon of ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) daily. To my amazement, a month later, my body is recovering much better and I have not had the same nagging swelling issue since I started taking this approach. I workout at least 4 times a week at Crossfit 928 and I love the people, the coaching and the results! Thank you Darin and Katrina for building such a great community.
When I decided to try CrossFit for the first time I wanted to make sure I went to a box where the trainers had experience and education about fitness and health. I knew Katrina from another gym and knew CrossFit 928 was the place to go. I have been a member since March of this year and have already seen improvement with my strength and my stamina to complete the workouts. Katrina and Darin are excellent coaches who care about your safety and your health. They take extra time to make sure you are doing the movements correctly and will modify them if necessary. If you are looking to improve your health and make a difference in your life go to CrossFit 928!
More than just another box...this is family! Katrina and Darin have built an amazing community. They have recently expanded and the facility is top notch. You will get an amazing workout, but there is opportunity to get even more out of the experience. Everyone I have met has been friendly and encouraging. I highly recommend CrossFit 928!
I love this box! If you are looking for a holistic fitness plan, CrossFit 928 has it covered. No matter what your fitness level, they will start with the basics. The community is very friendly and inviting. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to share my fitness journey.
I am 52 doing CrossFit! I have trained for years at different gyms. I love the competitive spirit at 928. Everyone is so encouraging. Darin and Katrina are excellent trainers. They tell me to scale down if I need to or encourage me to go harder. I have heard negative comments on CrossFit in general because of lack of the trainers watching proper form. The trainers at this gym watch! If someone has bad form it is addressed. They dont want injuries. I would highly recommend anyone to come and try 928 out. No matter your age it's a great toning and conditioning workout.
