I am with Karin, I have been a member since april of 2013 and this gym has great staff. The facilities have always been clean, and the equipment well-maintained. They also have the full range of equipment and facilities offered by the PF chain (still no free weight barbells), as well as a spacious building. Also, a big lol to the guy who compared the regulars to gang members! There are a number of very fit individuals who workout around peak hours and they have ALL been a great inspiration as well as helpful in my own personal transformation; give them a chance and try talking to them sometime, they have all been awesome to me! *note: this 5 star rating is for this one gym in particular, not the chain it represents...

I never write reviews but I feel like there is no honest review of this planet fitness location so I have to chime in. I love this gym. The employees are always greeting me with a smile and they have even memorized my name and member number so it is a very personal experience, my two sisters are members also and have had the same treatment. They have a wide variety of weights (yes including free weights) and the staff maintains the stations very well. I do a very diverse workout plan and I have always had the equipment I needed available. I even recall a time when the stationary bike was not reading my heart rate correctly and when I told the staff they fixed it immediately. Other members are always friendly and courteous I have been to the gym as early as 4AM and as late as 10PM and all times in between and I am always able to get a good workout in a pleasant and clean environment with other members who aren't interested in slamming weights and trying to mimic Venice Beach. If you want a clean, well maintained, non intimidating gym on the south side give them a try. If you want to slam weights and scream while you squat 90 million lbs then this may not be the place for you.

Pretty nice place, BUT, Members are pretty rough and tough. I think they must give a discount if your in a Mexican gang!
