Have been a member since Nov 2010. Was very hesitant to even walk in the door at first. Staff was (and is) extremely welcoming. Before I knew it, I was going through the training circuit for a trial run. I LOVED IT!! Challenging for ALL fitness levels -- I was morbidly obese and noticed big changes in my body within the first couple of weeks. If you are serious about changing your life through exercise and nutrition (it's definitely not for the half-hearted) you will see immediate results and feel WONDERFUL about yourself. The trainers genuinely care about your success and are always challenging you to "do more" than you think you can and/or to do better than you did last time. Small group sessions by scheduled appointments alleviate the "I should go to the gym, but…" excuses. If you skip your session, you're out of luck! You are TOTALLY accountable for your success in GISFW's three point approach - strength training, cardio, and nutrition. The trainer to client ratio (1:4 or less) is a wonderful way to build a great rapport with not only your trainer but with the other women in your group. Through all the grunting and sweat, we have a lot of laughs and fun. It's been a great experience.
