Horrible customer service! I walked into cardio express wanting to try out the gym before signing myself and my family up. I told the girl at the counter I was from out of state and just moved to Connecticut. I handed her my coupon for a 7 day free trial and then signed a document. We went through a full tour and even though I told her I wasn't interested in a few areas she still proceeded to go over them. I understand they are paid to do that but after I was walked all over the facility she told me to sit down to sign more papers and she needed my ID. She took my ID over to the counter then came back after I filled out more papers and said since I didn’t have a CT license I couldn’t use the 7 day free trial and the only way I could use the facility is to know another member. Well cardio fitness I will take my business elsewhere and I hope others do as well.

for 10$ you cant go wrong with this place. they do charge a 40$ maintenance fee once a year. other than that, the staff is nice, and the machines are always working. can't really complain for 10$.

Would recommend this gym to anyone, and trust me, I would not have recommended it 3 years ago. Second time joining. Totally redone. I went to this gym around 3 years ago and had some of the same experiences other users describe below, but those reviews are certainly out of date by now. I rejoined because my brother joined and said it was a great gym. Come to find out, the place has been totally redone, new staff has been hired, and the sign up process is great. The staff member gave me a complete tour of the facilities before even talking to me about membership options... which made me feel much more comfortable spending my money there. They are open 24 hours 5 days a week and open on the weekends so it's extremely convenient. The staff is very personable and enthusiastic about new members. They remember my name and always welcome me when I walk in as well as thank me when I leave.

I joined this gym about a month and half ago and I have to say I LOVE IT!!!!!! I have been there almost everyday since joining. The staff are AWESOME!! You are greeted upon entering and told to have a great day upon leaving. The equipment is state of the art. They also offer groups I have tried the spin class and found the instructors are very inspirational and I come to LOVE the class. If I didn t have a family at home I think I would live there. Give it a try you will not be disappointed :)

Trying to cancel my membership is becoming a very slow walk through hell. Don't join go anywhere else they are only friendly while taking your money.
