Chose not to renew membership for another year, was charged $25 fee, had to certified mail cancellation note and still was charged additional monthly fee. Had to call main office twice to finally make sure it was cancelled. Beware, horrible cancellation policies!
Youfit is great! The plan we have gives you unlimited tanning and working out while bringing a friend. (Which is great for my BF and I since then we can have one membership and go together!) It is the best value I have found for a gym membership.
Avoid the trainer Mark......the gym in itself is great for the money with new equipment, just don't do the free hour of training with the trainer Mark. He was the rudest person I had ever met and knows nothing about training. Me and my girlfriend had trainers before and we have friends who are trainers. When we told him we didn't need him, he tried to say the way we workout is wrong and his way is the best. He asked me how many sets I do, i told him 3 sets of 12 and he tried to say that's for bodybuilding only. When he said that, we knew he had no idea what he was talking about. He basically insulted my girlfriend, the trainer Mark made our experience of the gym one of the worst experiences.
nice size, spacious. the cardio machines all stare outside or into the gym and not mirrors so that's kind off blah. tends to fill up with a lot of rowdy kids(teens) which can be a turn off for an older crowd like my wife and I otherwise. great value for the money. the staff are just there, nothing memorable
Major Rip Off. You pay 20 dollars a month for full membership. Then they change your a extra 30 dollar processing fee once a year. If your CC number has changed and you don't update them they charge you a 50 dollar late fee. When you cancel they make you give a 10 day notice and also change you a 25 processing fee. Oh yeah...weight are super limted, and weight machine are super low end. I mean its basically one step above something you would buy for you house. Also they do not allow outside gear inside there gym. AKA, wrist straps, weight belts, work out bands, etc. I mean by the time you pay all the fees you can have gone to a full service gym for just a little more or the same price.
