Enjoyed the gym. Did not care for my personal trainer. All she did was talk about herself and dismiss the issues I would bring to her. Shrugged it off like it was no big deal. Would recommend the gym but be particular about who you choose as a trainer.
very bad place. they provide no brochures even at the front desk. The girl said we have no brochures. I said what is your prices then? she said I am not allowed to give people the price. People are required to take a "tour" then at the end of the tour you will be given the price. All other gyms in town, gave me prices when I asked. They honored a potential customers questions. The MAC is disrespectful, they try to hide their prices from the public.
What I'm wondering is, if the prices varies on how much the place thinks you will pay..in order words, is the price negotiable? Are there different levels of membership? If you join one MaC and you use any of them? Because from what I'm seeing, some of them don't have tanning beds or pools, or massage therapy. I can' find too many clear pictures of what sort of exercise equipment is inside Is there an indoor track? Do any of them have raquetball or basketbal courts? I can go to the Y's site and find every price for every plan. I can tell what the place looks like. Nothing is secretive. Unfortunately, I really dislike a policy that says if I move to another area with a Y I cannot transfer my membership. I'm sure that didn't used to be true. For heaven's sakes, just tell what your plans cost..if every gym is the same price, and if we can attend any of them. Most people are BUSY, we don't have time to waste on the hard sell. If we can't afford you, we aren't going to come back, and we have both wasted our time.
