ULTIMATE GYM
Reviews
This place is not for the timid. The people are friendly but wry and will poke and joke even if they dont know you well (they mean the best). My wife and I love it and are making it a second home. If you come, bring a thick skin and all the energy you can muster. This place is what "going to the gym" ought to be. if you are easily intimidated, stay home and run on your treadmill.
Been boxing here for almost a year. Staff and regulars are extremely friendly and if you show commitment and initiative everyone there will work to help you improve whatever it is you're looking to improve. The owner Doug is a great guy and has flexible pricing.
I had never done martial arts before, but I wanted to learn, and have now been going for 3 months. Everyone, from the staff to the owner to the regulars, has been patient and interested in helping me learn. Age, gender and skill don't matter as long as you take the work seriously. FYI, you will be quoted different prices because there are different packages. They are very flexible in their terms and prices.
This place has horrible customer service. I wanted to find out about the prices and classes offered. They made me feel stupid for asking. They first quoted me $120 per month/ per class then 3 other prices. I wanted to know what per month/ per class meant and he caught a attitude with me. I don't know if they only want a certain demograhic to join but the 2 men that were at the front desk lost a client.
A fantastic training facility with lots of options. The great thing about this multi-discipline gym is that there are unique instructors for each art being taught. It is not a one instructor knows all type place but a gym with numerous folks qualified in their individual art.
