Ground Zero CrossFit
Reviews
I LOVE this box. I have been a member for about 16 months. When I first started at Ground Zero Crossfit I could not complete Olympic lifts, squats, box jumps ect... I was intimidated. The coaches spent time helping me with form, helping me to understand how movements are completed, and the coaches encouraged me. The atmosphere at the box is that of encouragement and friendship. Not only are my muscles stronger but I also have a stronger more positive self esteem. I highly encourage you to come try a free class - Saturdays.
I was hesitant to start cross fit because I had not done anything like it before, but wanted to get into better shape. Ground Zero was a place that I found easy to learn because of their basics course, which teaches you the fundamentals of each lift and workout. That course helped me before jumping into the regular work out classes. The coaches are awesome. This is a great place to start!
GZ is an amazing place! I have worked out my whole life in various facilities but stopped due to a back injury. My son encouraged me to participate in the GZ "seniors" group but I hesitated not wanting to injure myself any further. But I decided to give it a shot! I have totally surprised myself with how much stronger and flexible I have become and how much I really love going! It is tough and always a challenge but at the same time exhilarating because I can see what it has done for not only my body, but for my mindset. Our trainer, Marcie Billen is the best! She is patient and eager herself to see each of us improve. I would recommend this facility to anyone, no matter your age or physical state of being, because they are there to make you better!
Ground Zero is awesome! A little over a month ago I had no idea how to do a lot of the exercises involved with CrossFit. I took the 3 week basics course and now I can do them all with confidence. The coaches are great at what they do! They know how to keep us safe and motivated, and I always look forward to going to the box. No matter what your level of experience may be, Ground Zero is the place to go!
GZ is simply great. Their coaches are very knowledgeable, the programming is well thought out and keeps us on our toes, and their new facility is is really nice with lots of equipment to go around. After college, I really missed working out with a group of teammates, but during these last two years the folks at GZ have become my family! At GZ we all help to push each other to be fitter, faster, and lift heavier. Weather you're looking to compete, make the best health decision of your life (with a built in support network), or gain function movements for life, GZ is the place for you.
