Old School Fitness
Reviews
The short version is that Old School Fitness is clean, has a nice and helpful staff, lots of equipment, clean locker rooms, is well-lit, spacious, and you never have to fight to get some piece of equipment or on a machine. Long Version: Absolutely no strong arming or any pressure to sign up when you first arrive. Actually, the guy didn't even bother to join me for the tour, he simply said that I was free to look around. (Although, he gladly answered any questions I had). They have tons of equipment that I have never seen anywhere else. Including many things for the serious athlete. Since so many of the members are serious about either athletics or weightlifting, you can get lots of free advice. The locker room and bathrooms have always been spotless. That is always a nice thing. Any serious athlete who is interested in things like Kettle bells, chains, straps, sleds, Olympic lifting, power lifting or, really, anything else, I could not imagine going anywhere else. But, I also recommend this place for anyone that might be intimidated by these places. The people are really cool and they also offer an assortment of classes with things like Step, Aikido, Aerobics, that sort of stuff. I should also mention that they have plenty of treadmills including a really advanced one that enables you to run in multiple directions with no fear of falling over. It is pretty neat looking. If I had to offer a complaint it would be that they close at 9pm on a Friday, 6pm on a Saturday and 5pm on a Sunday, but, I am probably in the minority there. All in all, a fantastic place.
I lost fat and gained muscle tone. The workouts here are the most effective I've ever seen! Many other people have experienced the same excellent results I did.
