Do NOT join this gym unless you really enjoy having to deal with being charged when your contract is over. They have an "automatic renewal" clause whereby the steal at least another $100.00 from you even after your contract is over.

Worst gym. Don't waste your time. To begin.... This gym is absolutely FILTHY! $30 enhancement every year & they don't inform you about this when signing up.... This fee is to "help maintain the CLEANLINESS OF THE GYM." Are you kidding me? You would think they could buy a broom & sweep up all the dust. Or buy some disinfectant & clean the mold out of showers/steam room.. Apparently that's not in their budget. Paid for a 2 year membership up front. Have acquired an injury DUE TO USE OF THEIR GYM during my contract. The gym deceived me by signing me up for a "renewal" so that I do not have the ability to be refunded for the additional 1 & 1/2 years left on my contract which I have already paid in full for. Unprofessional & deceiving staff. Basically threw away hundreds of dollars.

This gym is ok because of the pool and classes, customer svc depends the person.

I signed my teenage daughter up at the Swann Ave location for a two year contract. They demolished the building a few months ago and have still been billing my checking account. When I called the billing agency I was told they have her membership located in New Port Richey and they do not have any information that Swann location has closed. They told me I would have to talk to the gym manager at the Swann location (ummmm no building idiot) So after refusing to connect me to a supervisor I finally hung up. I contacted the New Port Richey location and yes they had my daughter's membership there... I live in Town N Country. So the gym manager gave me an email address to a "regional manager", no phone number of course... So after two days and no response I call the toll free number on the website. They fax me over a copy of the contract that stated Swann Ave, however the fax could not be read. All the memberships for Swann Ave were transferred to Calta's gym and I have to contact Calta's to cancel.. I call Calta's and they have no record of my daughter's contract. I call the toll free number again in an attempt to get the same person back, but instead Carrollwood answers the phone. Apparently there is no corporate office and she also shows my daughter at New Port Richey. They will not cancel the contract even though it is a one club membership and I am beyond the mileage range because that is where they show the contract is signed. So, not only have I been billed for a location that has not been in use for a few months, they tell me I have to pay the contract out, which does not expire until 09/2014.

Disgusting>>>>>They got rid of cleaning crew and the bathrooms and dressing rooms have roaches and they are filthy. I saw a member cleaning the shower head it was disgusting. Mold and mildew in bathrooms too>>>>>>Find another gym, it is very expensive and absolutely not worth it.
