When I signed up, I was told I could cancel at any time. When I went to cancel, I was told I couldn't cancel for the first year. I expressed my concern, and was given some flip line about 'past employees who told people the wrong stuff.' It was ridiculous. A truly quality facility would not need to resort to lying to get/keep customers. I'm stuck with the membership for a few more months, but after I cancel, I intend to never go back and to spread the word about their shady practice. I hope the $50 was worth the longer term loss of business.
A LOT OF TRICKS BEING PLAYED IN THE HIDDEN FEES. THIS PLACE DOES NOT GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM DOING ALL OF THEIR CUSTOMERS A FAVOR BY FORWARDING ALL OF THE "FINE PRINT" TO THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE FOR REVIEW. I BELIEVE THEIR PRACTICES TO BE VERY DECEITFUL! HOW THE HELL DO YOU TELL SOMEONE IF THEY CANCEL BEFORE THE 12 MONTH AGREEMENT IT IS A $60 BUT IF YOU CANCEL 1 DAY AFTER THEY WILL HIT YOUR ACCOUNT FOR ANOTHER ANNUAL SERVICE FEE $43 (?) AND SINCE YOU'RE IN THE NEXT BILLING CYCLE THEY HIT YOUR ACCOUNT FOR ANOTHER $10.... WHAT A CROCK!!
Had several memberships with different companies and there a good deal. I agree with one reviewer the place is taken seriuosly by many as a work out enviorment and not a social get together. Coming from fitness centers from the city this company is a good upcoming competitor
I like that people go there to work out instead of sip smoothies and flirt. Everyone is very courteous and you really can get on any machine even at 5pm when other gyms have a waiting list.
