My perspective on boot camps had been tainted by others in the past and I assumed this class would be the same. I figured I would burn out after a month or so and be right back to my bad habits. WELL...almost 2 years later I am still going strong and I have never looked back. The energy, encouragement, enthusiasm, and accountability I get each day has helped me reach goals I never thought my 40 year old body would reach. I have more energy than ever and am doing things I thought only fitness freaks would do! Staying fit has not only become an attainable goal, it is one I intend to keep for the rest of my life. I could not have done this without LiveWire.
Before I started this boot camp, I would have called you a liar if you told me I would be up exercising at 5:30AM every day. I'm NOT a morning person!! LiveWire Fitness has completely changed my outlook! I joined to help lose the weight that I have always battled. It certainly didn't help that I gained MORE than 60 lbs with my pregnancy! I have to admit that when I started it was almost half-hearted because I thought I would fail. I couldn't run one mile without stopping. I can now run almost 7 miles on the weekend, and I'm not a "gym rat". It's simply the conditioning of the boot camp class. These workouts are not a chore, it is usually so fun and different each day that I never dread going. I'm about 25 pounds lighter, and although I still have lots of weight to lose, I feel more benefits that just weight loss. It really does get you energized and ready for day. Give this a try, you won't be disappointed!!
This bootcamp is wonderful--it's challenging, energetic, and fun. Jennifer incorporates the right mix of strength, cardio, and interval training. Each day is different so you never know what to expect--the best way to work out! She encourages a real sense of community among members with outside activities like running races on the weekends and optional social gatherings. She even takes members on a trip to the grocery store to teach about healthy eating. I would definitely recommend LiveWire Fitness!
had a membership to a gym but was not seeing the results that I wanted. The reason why I had no support; no one cared if I missed a class. I started going less and less and had a million excuses why not to go or really push myself. From the moment I joined Livewire I felt welcomed. We are just like a family. If I miss a class people wonder why and are concerned. I have fun in class and actually want to go workout. It is always different, challenging, and rewarding. Jennifer is the best! She offers a orientation class, grocery tour, food journals, tons of healthy recipes, and all the personal attention you could ask for. She is the reason why I am at my goal weight. She has changed my life from being on a diet to my new healthy lifestyle. I would recommend this class to any and everyone no matter what level of fitness you may be at. It is so worth it!!
I started LiveWire Fitness three months after I had my third child to help me lose my "baby weight." My daughter is almost two and I continue to love doing Jennifer's bootcamp. I have lost all the "baby weight" but continue to do the classes because I know how important exercise is to maintain my weight loss and a healthy lifestyle. Plus, Jennifer challenges me in ways I know I would never do on my own at the gym. Jennifer supports her members both in and out of class by offering nutritional advice and supplemental workouts/challenges for your days not in class. With three small children, I have an endless supply of excuses not to exercise. With Jennifer's class, my workouts are done first thing and I have more energy for my family the rest of the day.
