Tier 1 Training Facility
Reviews
I have worked out pretty seriously for the last few years trying to rehab myself from some serious mid section surgeries. Once I had gotten back into decent shape, I wanted to try something new, that would push me into a different level. That's when I found Tier 1. I am really, really glad that I did. I dig the training and the staff. Alan and Abi are awesome. Both are amazing athletes and trainers, and are the most humble people you will ever meet. I appreciate that alot. The workouts they put us through range from relatively easy, to extremely difficult. Difficult to the point that they cannot be finished unless you are in excellent condition already. I have been going for a month now, and have not repeated a single workout yet, so they mix it up alot, and it's always something new and fun. WARNING:..This is not your local big box gym. There are no TV's on the walls, and they do not hand you clean towels when you step off the treadmills....heck they don't even have treadmills. What they do have is a recipe to make you better. Both physically, and mentally. All you have to do is show up, and not quit.
Tier 1 Training facility is absolutely the best gym I've been too! This is the first time I've participated in any strength and conditioning workouts and I have to say that the SOF (Special Operation Fitness) and Muay Thai classes are extraordinary. Unlike many instructors I've had in the past, Alan pays special attention to each individual to ensure that your form is correct and injuries are avoided. Alan is also extremely motivating and patient, working with each person to ensure the workout is tailored to their individual ability. I would definately recommend this gym to anyone looking to get fit, have a great time and kick some butt!
The Tier 1 Training Facility is the future of combat sport training! World-class instruction and from an exceptional person. Alan offer the best instruction in BJJ gi and no-gi, Muay Thai, and Strength and Conditioning all in one place.
You owe it to yourself and your children if you have little ones to check out Tier 1 Fitness. If you reside in the northeast metroplex area( McKinney, Plano, Fairview or Allen) and are serious about fitness or martial arts you must check out Tier 1 Fitness. I have trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 17 years and I have had the privilege of knowing Alan Shebaro for 12. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Alan as a friend and a person. Anyone who has met him will tell you the same. Lot of people talk about loving America and wanting to defend her, Alan Shebaro doesn't talk he does. When people were talking about 911 and how horrible it was Alan as re-enlisting and traveling half a world away to kick terrorists in the face.In addition to being a 10 year veteran of the Army special Forces and an Iraq veteran, Alan, is one of the most skilled Martial Artists I know, and I have been blessed to meet some pretty good ones. He has trained BJJ under some of the best in the world and is currently affiliated with Nova Uniao, one of the top BJJ teams on the planet. He is also trained extensively under Saekson Janjira, one of the top Muay Thai kickboxing instructors in America. If that's not enough to get you excited about working out at Tier 1, Alan has an amazing kids program as well. Tier 1 is a one stop shop for fitness and martial arts. If you are serious about self improvement for you or your kiddos then get up and head to Tier 1 now.....Seriously get up and go, you won't be disappointed.
Tier 1 Training Facility is my favorite place to be. Alan's passion for teaching is obvious. Whether he is running you through SOF workouts, teaching the kids in the LIttle Rangers class, teaching adults in BJJ he is 100% engaged. He is not sit on the sidelines and yell out instructions type of coach. He is not going to shout insults at you. But he is going to make sure you push yourself. There is a great mix of people here. From elite athletes, military special forces hopefuls, to stay at home moms, and desk jockeys like me that just want to get into the best shape of their life. And as diverse as it is, it still feels like a family. We are there for all of the members. Thinking of doing a 5k, a mud run, a triathlon and don't want to go it alone? Just let us know and you might have some company, or spectators. The workouts are always challenging, varied, and test you both physically and mentally. One of my favorite events are the Friday morning team exercises. They are not just about working hard, but learning to work together as a team.He will scale to your ability. One of my friends needed two of the thickest assistance bands to do just a few pullups, only a few months later and she can almost do pullups unassisted. The pricing is great. Comparable to Crossfit, but for the price of most Crossfit gyms you are not limited in days and can also have the options to do BJJ, and Muay Thai. Tier 1 is a one stop shop for some of the best training in DFW. Face it, you aren't going to use that gym membership to really get the value out of it, trainers are too expensive, and even for a group personal training session you would still be paying more. And that is what it really is. A group of diverse people, exercising together, instructed by one of the best trainers you will ever meet. Tier 1 is the place you know you want to be.
