Warning: They will gladly set you up with a membership at any time but make you jump through hoops to cancel your membership, even when the sales rep tells you that you can "cancel at any time". Took my son in to cancel his membership today and they told him only one person, Ashley, could do it and we would have to come back between 9 -5, Mon thru Fri. I had to step in to address the issue. The senior ranking employee on site, Scott McCoy was a total ass and showed the full extent of his small man syndrome. He said he would prove I would have to come back and called the GM Brett Halsor on his cell phone. Brett instructed Scott to take my sons information and would handle it on Monday. Glad Brett had the sense to handle this because I could have made this situation a whole lot worse for them. Son is a minor and minors cannot enter into a legal contact........

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY!!! I've been a member here for going on 4 years and the only reason I keep my membership is because I got in at a time where I got an extremely great deal and they have child care available as an option. Until something better comes along I'll have to stay here, but I've heard other LA's around the area are much nicer!

Great gym, friendly staff. Take critical reviews with a grain of salt... I've had a membership to almost every big-chain gym and LA Fitness ranks at the top with all things considered. Cleanliness varies throughout the day... Want a cleaner locker room? Come right after they clean it.

I went on a guess pass for my first time to a LA Fitness. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I took a step class, which was surprisingly great and I loved the instructor. So after the class I went to sign up for a membership and spoke to a "manager". He was extremely rude to me right away and treated me like I was a nobody. After he told me the prices of the membership I said I would think about it and he told me I could pay $15 at the front desk for my workout today. I was shocked and told him I have a guest pass, he didn't care and said I can read the sign at the front desk. Then he told me "This is not a free gym". I think he might of been on to many steroids! I will never join this gym and I plan on calling corporate on this issue Monday morning.

Terrible customer service. Canceled my gym membership and came back a month later to find out they didn't cancel it. When I told two different reps the problem they completely ignored the fact that I was still paying and had no interest in reimbursing me. They could have cared less. They should actually pay attention when someone is speaking to them.
